This page is for the Alpha challenge D = dandelion. It is also for Gracieâs MMJ Challenge.
I am currently trying to catch up on MMJ and also Alpha challenges. I may not do them all, but as I am responsible for the MMJ Challenge thread I feel I need to try and do as many of these as I can, and to encourage other members on the thread. I am also in a MM mood.
I started with a page I had plonked some colour onto. Mainly yellow and a touch of blue. I am sure the yellow is the colour of dandelions lol.
Gracieâs MMJ challenge is to use die cuts. I have a stash full of die cuts I have made in the past. The flowers in the vase were stamped and fussy cut many moons ago and are not perfect, but perfect to set the scene for my page.
I also had these butterflies. One had been stamped; one die cut after glueing a paper towel remnant on top and the third die cut out of a gelli print. The photo strip was also die cut out of a gelli print. I also found this lacy die cut which I had cut out of a page I had smooshed in a few inks. It is also imperfect but again perfect for the scene I wanted to create. All die cuts were made a long time ago.
I added the quote stickers on top of another gelli print in my stash. Added some dandelion colour with my pens and done.
If you have a bag or drawer of die cut stash sitting there, make a collage and come and share it with us on the MMJ Challenge chat page.
TFL. Happy day

So pretty and such a great way to use up stashed away items. The words could mean so many things which is delightful. My first thought was if the butterflies could fly that high they would stay up there and not come back but then what would they eat...Hey, it is early for me what can I say. Love this. Hugz

Fantastic use of all your bits and pieces! I love the way you centered everything around the pot of flowers. The butterflies are always a favorite of mine! The doodling adds so much, too.
What if...
