This is my card for John for the Tea Party. It is going to certainly surprise him and will, hopefully, get him smiling again! John has sailed most of his life and I enjoyed the years we sailed together on his catamaran.
My card is pretty straightforward. I used the Smoosh & Squirt technique for the bg panel and with the image. I used my Misti to stamp the yacht image. This I adhered to card using Dimensionals. I already had the black frame die cut.
Thanks to all of you who have made cards - the gallery looks amazing! TFL!

Great minds hey. When I first checked out the Teaparty yesterday I thought I have the perfect Darkroom Door Stamp butt when checking the gallery found you had got there first so had to find another stamp. Perfect stamp and lovely card.

What a very beautiful and peacefully serene card! Love the way the water ripples look behind your sailboat and the way you've framed in the image on your card design! The smooshed background panel is a great accent to this as well! Very nicely done card for John!

Awesome image and I love how it fills the front of the card. I think the smooshed bg is all it needed because it has so much lovely detail already. But, your black framing really sets it off. Fabulous card. I do hope it makes John smile again and I hope all the cards this week help to lift his spirits. Hugs.

Your smoosh and squirt technique created a gorgeous background for this beautiful stamp. I love the black silhouette and the reflection of the boat on the blue. Your black framing is perfect. Fabulous card.

Love the image, the color, and the framing, Sue. I am sure this will be his favorite since it comes with extra love on top of being beautiful. Hugz and hoping the surgery goes really well.
