This is my sample for CC964. Barbara is our hostess and she chose moody mauve, misty moonlight and copper clay. Dessert option is die cuts.
I thought these colors would make a great Fall birthday card. My friend is celebrating next month. I used the CottageCutz Christmas Floral die and cut the greenery in moody mauve, copper clay and mossy meadow cardstocks.
The pot is cut in pecan pie (neutral) and shaded with the same ink. Added my sentiments -cut in copper clay.
The background designer paper is from the Stampin' Up "earthen elegance" collection. I added a few misty moonlight enamel dots to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. It's a chance to use some of the new beautiful colors from Stampin' Up. If you don't have these colors- just use what's in your stash that's close.

Beautiful card Mary!! I really wasn't sure about this particular paper pack until I got it out and played with it yesterday and now I really kinda LOVE it! Looks great as a Fall backdrop on your card!

This is such a pretty autumn birthday card, Mary! I especially like seeing that DS paper in the background. It is so effective used to show the ombré effect. Your vase of flowers is sweet, and I know your friend will love this card!
