Barbara is hosting our color challenge this week with the lovely combination of Copper Clay, Moody Mauve and Misty Moonlight with die cuts for dessert.
I initially tried this with embossed Misty Moonlight paper, and leaves die cut from the challenge color's corresponding cardstock. It didn't quite work - or maybe I just needed something lighter as we hit 98 on the thermometer. - Anyway, I decided that the leaves would work better water colored and that's where I ended up. Not too many leaves are falling just yet here in Minnesota but they are starting to turn...
I hope you will join us this week and I'll look forward to seeing your art!

Simply gorgeous!! Love the sentiment in the circle cutout and the beautiful falling leaves. I think you were on the right track, it's beautiful on the lighter bg!

Beautifully done, Chris. Love the falling leaves in the colored ones and the embossed panel. Terrific & thoughtful sentiment. Wonderful use of the challenge colors. Love it!
