Here is my card for the August Teapotter Tickle hosted by Gracie. She challenged us to put gladiolus on our card. I looked through my stamps and found the closest thing I could to gladiolus. I suppose these tall flowers sticking up out of the wheelbarrow could be hollyhocks. Close enough. I've also combined the challenge with the September image swap. Patti hosted September with this cat and basket of apples. I thought they paired really nicely with the pretty flowers in the wheelbarrow. The last time I used that stamp, I watercolored it and it came out kind of a muddy mess. So this time I colored with my Copics. There was a lot of coloring on this card, which was nice and relaxing, but with the small amount of time each day that I'm getting for crafting, it took me three days. Naturally I made two of these cards. One will go to a Teapotter and the other will go to Ruby. Have a great day, friends!

I don't think they're hollyhocks either, the flowers are far too dense on the stem, and too small. But they're certainly pretty. I like the sunny autumnal feel with the basket of apples and the sweet kitty.
