I had to do a bit of searching, but I finally found a site with coloring pages for Elmo & The Count from Sesame Street (coloringhome.com) to fit the Teapot Tuesday challenge. Since they were PDF files & not image files, I had to print one of each, and then scan the printouts into my computer. I opened the scans in Photoshop. I cropped the one of Elmo down. The page for The Count had bats flying around him that I didn't want, so I erased those. I created a blank "canvas" in Photoshop, & moved both characters onto that. I resized them to fit, & moved Elmo so he was partially behind The Count. I also selected some of the grass bits that were in The Count image, copied each to the computer's clipboard, & then pasted them onto the canvas. I moved them around, just to help fill out the bottom of the scene more. Finally, I used a laser printer to print the image onto smooth bristol paper.
I blended Tumbled Glass around the outside of the sky area, just to give it a hint of color. I used my markers to color in The Count, Elmo, & the grassy area. I had to google to find colored images so I would know what colors to make everything, especially on The Count. To help the buttons on his jacket stand out a bit more, I added black Nuvo drops. Finally, I sprayed a UV-protectant matte varnish over the panel, which I hope will keep the ink colors from fading over time.
I stamped my greeting onto a strip of lavender cardstock that I thought went well with The Count's skin color. I matted my image panel with red cardstock, & added that to a blue panel that I'd adhered to a white card base. Finally, I glued my greeting in place.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with your coloring skills or your Photoshop skills. Your cropping, erasing and merging files created one adorable scene with two of Ean's favorite characters. And, the inside of the Count's cloak is fabulous as is the texture on the outside of the cloak. All your coloring is fabulous. I predict he will love this sweet card. Awesome job.
