This week we are sending Tea Potter cheer and encouragement to Luc who is recovering from a paralyzing thrombosis. The good news is he is improving although he still has much therapy to undergo. Our hostess asked us to use text on our cards as Luc loves reading as well as biking and the mountains among other things.
For my card, I cut a swoop across a transparency to use as a guide to ink the ground and sky and then promptly covered it up so you can't see any of it except that teeny tiny corner on the left. LOL. I also used them as masks when I stamped the bg stamp so the text would be tone-on-tone. Die cut and colored the oval of mountains and trees, which was a gift from ZPAW NOW (Thanks again, Brian). Die cut the TH pines and cut them apart so I could place the trees where I wanted them. The bike is stamped and fussy-cut. The sentiment was computer generated with Arial font.
I hope the many wonderful cards headed to Luc will brighten his days and inspire him as he heals. And, I hope he can ride his beloved motorbike through the mountains again very soon. Hope you all are enjoying your favorite pastimes today too. TFL

Interesting process for the background, I’ll have to remember it. I love the colors together, so soothing. Lovely mountain scene and perfect sentiment!!

Such a thoughtful creation for Luc. I love that text background subtly appearing behind the mountain scene with the motorbike in the foreground. Also, just a tiny thing, but having the sentiment strip pointing forward is perfect. I love this!
