When I read purple and use a favorite, this paper came immediately to mind. Bought many years ago at Target, this assorted paper pack has some of my absolute FAVORITE designs in it!
The paper spoke to me, and asked me to go out of my comfort zone and make a slimline card. Once I covered the card base with the paper, I had to make the decision whether to go vertical or horizontal. Horizontal won. I dug an element I had stamped and colored and fussy cut out of my stash (again, years ago...). Added the swirl element to the card. I knew I wanted to use the Courage die, then looked through my stash for inspiration to go with the word. I found a piece I had embossed using a Celtic ef. I fussy cut the gold oval out of that panel, mounted the Courage word on it, and added to the card front. I decided I really liked the gold on gold, rather than going with contrast. Added some purple glitter dots to embellish, and done!
I have always loved that paper, and I loved the colored and cut out stamp image- I'm so pleased they went together so well (and that I finally USED them).

What gorgeous paper and glitter dots! Love your "courage" element so appropriate to encourage Ashlie as she struggles to recover.

Beautiful paper. Love the mix of blues and purples and the gold coordinates beautifully. I'm with Sabrina, the swirl element is both unusual and intriguing and looks great on that paper. Wonderful card.
