Ohhh Sallie - as always, your take on something is often the best! I love this soft, still beauty, and your wonderful take on the sketch overall! (Your painting almost makes me long for "that" season... the one which will remain nameless in my mind at least until November! Bring on more Summer for now! hehe)

I love the way you put a circle in the middle of the 4 square, that is really pretty holly and berries too!!!

Sallie, how genius to reach for a leaf instead of a flower to work on veining. This helps me find something that will work for me. Lovely painting as always.

I like how you added the circle. When I sketched through my painting I held my breath hoping it wouldn’t ruin it. Love how you did it in these leaves. I think this technique will be a game changer when painting leaves. Great job with both challenges.
