Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has started the month of August off with some beautiful, soft pastels: Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam. The dessert option this week is to add any blue color. As you can see, I'm all in for dessert!
This card was made from a set of four stencils. The set makes four different card fronts, one on each quadrant of a full sheet of cardstock. I used the equivalents of Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow to give some dimension to the blue flowers and the leaves. I also added some lines with a tan colored pencil to give the vase some depth as well.
I cut the layer down and mounted it on a scalloped rectangle, then onto a standard card base. No greeting on this card and no bling. It just seemed complete to me as it is, so for a change I knew when to stop! LOL!
