TPT783 - Theme is waterfowl; our cards are going to each other
Living between the Grand River & Lake Erie, you can imagine we have a lot of waterfowl & some bald eagles flying around. One of the most prevalent are the Canada geese. They won't even get out of the road with traffic!! So, I chose to use the Wetlands set. I stamped & masked the goose, then stamped the taller grasses. I created a river (it's really muddy right now) & sponged some clouds. Card base is Mossy Meadow.
Thanks for stopping by.

Once a goose hissed at me and chased me. The birds that stop our traffic here are sandhill cranes. They are a little taller than I am, and I am 5'4. I know that because sometimes when I am walking on the sidewalk in my neighborhood, they join me.

What a fabulous scene you've created for that goose! I love the watching geese with their huge families in early summer! I don't love all the poo they leave behind on our dock at the lake!

Fabulous scene. We have hoards of messy geese here. Last week I stopped for a gaggle of at least 50 as they crossed the road, then turned to go back where they came from. About 8-10 adults and the rest little ones. Fun to watch.

I guess the Canada Geese know they are in control and no one is game to mess with them. Nothing like them around here - we do have Bin Chickens (Ibis) though wandering around in the parks. A great bird for the challenge.

A great water bird to bring along, I like that set. And I love the way you created a little stream running through, instead of a horizon water line as I would automatically do. This reminds me of something I saw in an estuary near here when I last visited my doctor - there were birds on either side of a channel of water.
