For today's Technique challenge Beverly wanted us to try Stencil Shifting - where you ink over a stencil - shift it a bit and ink in another color.
I had been playing with Stamp Shifting recently and that's what my mind was thinking when I read the challenge (duh??!!)
So I had this panel in the box of unfinished 'stuff' and used it for the challenge.
Then when I'm writing this up - realize I was supposed to use a stencil -
So here's my card!
I used an orange ink first, shifted the melon panel over just a tad in my misti left the stamp where it was on the misti for the first stamping - and stamped again withwhite pigment ink.
Love how dimensional it looks. Hope it passes muster for the challenge today??!!
Now back to DTGD cards...... my mind is ALMOST fried and it's only day 3??

Wow! That is a cool effect for the stencil shifting! So elegant!
Thanks for playing my challenge!
I got interrupted and just read your description. Ha! Sounds like something I would do. All is well--as long as you are at least a little shifty. (tee hee!)
