I changed jobs this month. I think I'll be better at the rest of my life now. I'm back to the Actuarial Department and I'm so happy about it. I have ten people that report to me and they are all so smart. Actuarial exam results for the spring sitting came out recently and one of my team members passed her sixth exam which makes her an official Associate Actuary. I'm so excited to be working with the new actuaries again. I love making New ACAS and New FCAS cards!
This week's Featured Stamper is vikkijo, who has such a fun gallery. I did browse through the whole thing, but I didn't get very far before I found just the right inspiration. This card is just so cool. What an awesome scene. I think I'm particularly impressed because it's both a fun fold and little fiddly die cuts. Two things I'm not great at. Well, it reminded me of the awesome office kit from MFT, so I made a cute office scene with roughly the same colors as Vikki's card.
I cut all the pieces out of white and just colored them with markers. I also die cut the ACAS out of white glitter fun foam, but then it didn't fit well at the top of the card and blended into the "carpet" at the bottom. So I colored up the letters with a marker.
Thanks for the inspiration, Vikkijo!

I LOVE your card and would definitely CASE it if I had half your talent. My daughter will be back in an office building two days a week after three years of working from home. Just trying to make her transition smoother from a cheerleader/mom standpoint. Your card is soooo clever!
