A pink side fold card with the front cut down about 1/2 way. I had 2 die-cut black scallop pieces and glued them front to back for added body and for looks inside. I had this mottled pink in my stash, and a round in black. Added my jeweled numbers and stamped the sentiment at the base. I free-hand cut the round shape and did the same for the inside white layer. Finished with a bow. Used fancy scissors to cut a strip of pink from a scrap for a border and stamped the remaining inside of the card. Punched 3 hearts. 1 to cover a booboo the other 2 for balance. Again keeping it simple with what I had on hand as my arm is still quite sore. Busy now catching up on cards posted by my friends...sorry for the delay!

Really a lovely and very special birthday card, Betty. The pink and black and white make such a wonderful color combination and the gem-encrusted glittered numbers are the sparkling highlight. Oh beautifully done.

Glad you are able to make cards again. This is a beauty with the lovely shape and chic appearance you created. Like your added bling and bow to complete it with the jewels. The inside is finished nicely with the sentiment and added hearts. Nice way to hide a mistake. Fav'd TFS
What you call simple looks pretty complex to me. Very pretty, Betty. I don’t know what happened, but glad you are able to craft. This is a pretty card.

Well, Yvette will adore this as do I. I swear you "freehand" cut things better than I do with dies. Love the layout and the black and pink look both frilly and sophisticated. Fabulous card.

Glad to hear you are healing up, although still sore. It takes time. Good to see you adding to your gallery again. This one is a beauty! Love the curved top. The scallop circles frame the jeweled numbers beautifully. Love the pink & black. What a special birthday card inside and out. Well done!
