A fun Technique Lovers Challenge today - Graffiti. I watched the video to see what to do. I followed it pretty much!?!
I inked the back of my Bricked Embossing Folder with black ink and embossed a white card.
I only had a vertical brick EF - and this wall is already kind of worn and broken with missing bricks and cracks!
It made me think of how flowers/weeds grow up against old buildings that are not taken care of anymore - and thought my floral rub-ons would be perfect here. I wasn't sure if they would adhere to the uneven brick - but they did. The only place they wouldn't adhere was where there was a lot of black ink - maybe because it's SO HUMID here today!
Then I sponged some Distress Tea Dye and Crushed Olive along the base and lightly about half way up.
I was nervous that the sentiment wouldn't be readable - but that worked out well too! I tried to find the whitest spot that would still balance with the card design.
So here is my Graffitti wall. Thanks for the fun new technique Sabrina! Not sure yet what I'll stamp inside.

I see we had like minds today!!! I love your rub-ons. I've never used them. I really like this brick ef and the look it leaves, old and broken like you said of an old building. Love your colors today too. ♥

The black ink is super-effective and not something I would have been brave enough to try. And the rub-on flowers look fantastic. You really captured the look you were going for of wildflowers against a derelict wall.
