MariLynn is the Featured Stamper today. I kind of got lost in her gallery oohing and aaahing. When I stumbled upon this card: WCW087 by MariLynn at Splitcoaststampers It looked familiar. I have that verse stamp! I also have a floral stamp similar to that image... so I basically tried to CASE the card.
Similarities: image, sentiment, colors, doodling
Differences: I used a stamp instead of freehanding the flowers, I turned mine landscape, extra details on the doodling, and I gave my image a table to sit on.
If you haven't tried the Sharpie Gel pens do give them a try. Same dependable blackness you get from a Sharpie and the gel aspect is a much smoother flow than the fine line Sharpie felt tip.

Beautiful potted plant stamp and I love the loose watercoloring on this. It's always fun to see doodled frames -- they add a bit of whimsy. Wonderful card.
