The challenge said Henry likes boats. I pulled out a completed card from the paper pumpkin kit. I wanted the boat to move. This kit was released in 2019 and the adhesive I used was not really sticking well, so I dismantled the completed card. Everything was still usable.
I asked my husband for ideas on making the boat move. He had his suggestions and I listened, then asked my daughter. She found a llama set with the curvy die that the boat moves on. Then I worked on the wheel (or whatever it is called) as I wanted it to move. I had the brad to fit in the center, but it was too tight. I added layers of cardstock behind the wheel, but still too tight. Daughter came back and suggested adding an eyelet, which she produced. The wheel will turn around with a bit of help from Henry or a sibling. So the boat will move by pulling the tab and it glides over the wheel. A lot of foam tape was used in adding the dimension to this card. I think it may be too tight a fit for an A2 envelope, so it will probably be mailed in a 5 X 7 sized envelope with a lot of postage.
It fits in the 5x 7 envelope. We bought a scale! It weighs 2 ounces, so it receives 2 stamps. I added Buzz Lightyear and a sailboat postage stamp from the Mighty Mississippi set. Have to add fun postage stamps as well.
Thanks for the kind comments! Yes, I was struggling so kept watching videos and talking to my family. They do help me a lot at times.

A family project that produced one fun card. Love the images and colors but adding all the interactive parts makes it all the more special. A special card for a special guy. Love the wavy cut out for the slider -- kudos to daughter. Great card.
