Congrats to MariLynn for being this week's chosen Featured Stamper. I went way back to 2007 (which I think is when my first cards appeared on Splitcoast) and I found this beautiful lighthouse card to CASE. I needed a card for my nephew next month who turns 31. A few years ago, I had decided I never got a thank you or anything from him so I just sent a store bought card. (He lives in FL) The next time I saw him, he says "Have you stopped making cards? I really missed last year's handmade card". Almost made me tear up! You bet I started making his cards again. I never thought it mattered but apparently it did! Here is MariLynn's card that I CASE'd Light house for friend by MariLynn at Splitcoaststampers

This is just such a beautiful scene, Sherri! I love the oval frame around the lighthouse! It's always so nice when anyone mentions how much they appreciate our love of card making! I have a grandson who also tells me how much he likes the cards I send!

Sherri, this is wonderful. I love light houses so I especially love it. He is going to love it. How great he told you of his fondness for your cards - it makes it all worth it doesn't it? Super case/card. Hugz

Gorgeous. I love that lighthouse and I love how you left it uncolored. It really looks stately shooting up from the rocks below surrounded by that lovely soft sky. That die cut frames it all out wonderfully. I'm so glad your nephew said something. I am always a bit amazed how much people enjoy receiving handmade cards even when they don't craft. I think they know it's a gift from the heart. Your nephew will adore this one. Great card.
