CAS - Stars and Stripes
TLC - make an open trellis card
I love Patriotic red/white/blue cards but I didn't need one this year - and I did need to create a birthday card for a friends DIL So I used white and gold
AND I've seen several Open Trellis cards here and on blogs and have been dying to know how to make one!
So a great combination today Stars and Stripes on an Open Trellis card.
I embossed the gold stars using a 3D Lumber Emb Folder for texture.
And I got the card created that I needed to make for someone!
Happy 4th everyone in the US - it's forecast to be soggy here in MA and will no doubt "rain on the parades" and even fireworks.....

This is brilliant. I love the look you achieved with the gold and white using that trellis design. The ef is FABULOUS and really makes those stars shine (sorry, pun not intended, but it does work). Those tiny gold stars really finish the this beautifully. Awesome card. Your friend will be delighted to give this to her DIL. Fav'd.

A lot of different elements, and layouts; the stars and name turned out beautifully!! Lovely card!
