Wow, Diane has such a beautiful gallery of cards! She provided me with the perfect idea for my son's holiday card! I've always loved Stampin' Up's Trees Three set and try to use it at least a couple of times each year for holiday cards. I didn't change much from Diane's lovely card, other than situating my sentiment on the silhouette panel. I used different trees and deer silhouette die. The BG was blended with distress oxide inks fossilized amber and tumbled glass, then dried and I used the embossing buddy before stamping the trees with versamark and embossing in white. The deer family was cut from smokey shadow cardstock and I cut the BG panel into three strips, like Diane. Here's her lovely card.

Beautiful. Perfect Christmas card. Never had thought about Christmas but it works perfect. Love the pop of black on the blue. Love the blending. Plan to make more for my men's birthday cards next year. Glad I inspired you, Diane

Oh Sue, this is such a beauty for your son. I love the trees three, and your bg is just lovely with the silhouetted deer family. Hugs to you and Bill.

Sue, this is such a great case of Diane's inspiration card. The dear trio silhouette is so pretty against the soft blue and white birch tree background.

The soft blue with the yellow sunrise makes such a beautiful setting for any nature scene and yours is so very lovely and peaceful. I love the white embossing on this and the very different look it gives then if the trees were darker. Adds to that serene peaceful feeling as do those deer grazing. Wonderful sentiment too. Your son will adore this, I'm sure. I certainly do. Great card.
