So, I should start with well, it's probably apparent I struggle with abstract and the whole no plan thing. I actually did watch that video more than once. could have fooled you eh? me too. So, my branch in the foreground became trees on the hills and the moon became a sun since, I didn't start off with a white circle space saved which circles back around to the no plan thing. I think my leaves you may be peeking out and up from under to see the trees on the hills should have had a trunk under them along the side but, I decided to just leave it alone. ( this is number two by the way the first one does not have a single thing in common with the video as no plan) There are a couple of before shots on the blog here with a link to the video. And you can find this challenge here to play along with us. Thanks for this challenge Brenda & tfl.

You have me laughing Stacy as I too struggled. I think your painting works perfectly with the abstact feel and the what looks to me like a valley crossing. A great look.

I see an awesome painting of sedimentary rock formations. There are layers of shale, limestone and even some sandstone in there. The "leggy" growth is perfect with this as it's really hard for any plant to get a foothold much less nutrients. That tiny orange sun helps me feel the vastness of what you painted.

Wonderful looseness to your painting. Maybe it is just me, but I see a forest that has been scorched by a fire and now new growth is coming back as shown by the green.

Very cool forest, hill scene, Stacy. I love that you went in a different direction. I could so see this with an Adventure Awaits or Irish Blessing Greeting. I like it! Hugz
