Having to purge and pack can be very daunting. Some days, I'm overwhelmed. But then I find something that inspires me (I never throw much away) and then I'm happy that I can upcycle it and, I hope, make it more beautiful.
I used Wednesday's sketch and today's MIX together. I found this old card, made of handmade paper and a real leaf embedded in the paper. It was just a flat card so I cut out the leaf center and then mounted it back on the back of the card after adding some gilding flakes on the edges and a little on the leaf. Leaves always lift me up, I just love them and I feel justified that I didn't throw this card away. I have always loved paper and greeting cards. A few green Stickles finishes it off. Trying to still be creative in the midst of chaos is also lifting me up. Thanks for the challenges!

WOWZA Jean, this is gorgeous! I love the hand made paper and really love the bits of gold too. So glad you did not toss this as it needed to be used on a card.
