Card for my hubby for Father's Day (shh, don't tell him yet!). Embossed the edge of a Soft Suede panel with the skinny EF. Put a puddle of Twinkling H2O's Orange on an acrylic sheet, picked up a bit with a foam blender, and applied it lightly to the embossed image.
Sponged the edges of the embossed panel and the front of the card base with Espresso Truffle. Layered the embossed panel onto Chestnut CS and adhered to card front.
Using the MISTI to line everything up, stamped the water and the sunset with Hero Arts colors, alternating the "strokes" from the PS2 set, onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS. Stamped the grasses from the Keeper stamp set twice with Espresso Truffle, moving the cardstock over in the MISTI so they overlapped a bit. Sponged Tide Pool ink around the edges.
Stamped the greeting (which I did "stamp surgery" on in order to make 3 lines instead of one) from the Out West 2 stamp set in Espresso Truffle over the sunset. Layered the greeting panel onto Chestnut CS, added some foam tape for dimension, and popped it up to the left of the embossing on the Soft Suede panel.
This was a very "fussy" card, but I like how it turned out! Hope Hubby does, too! TFL!
