I used the colors in the challenge to make a happy card for my daughter away at a camp for the summer. I give Turnabout stamps by C&9th a "2" for the time involved. I used the four colors (substituting Lemon Lolly for Daffodil) on one turn of the paper. Heart is stamped in Coastal Cabana, die cut, layered with foam dots. (If I could untape this card without ruining it, I would ink the edges of the plaid layer with gray or black to make it pop more against the yellow layer.) TMI?

What a fresh and lovely hello! I remember one of the very first cards I ever attempted was to send to one of my kids away at bible camp. I was awaiting my first SU order and in the meantime picked up a gold pigment pad to stamp on a piece of cut up poster board. It NEVER did dry enough to send...

Definitely not TMI! I love hearing about the process and thought that went into a card. I love Turnabout stamps, and the time involved doesn’t bother me. Especially when you get such a great result! I think I actually prefer the white panel without shading on the edges. Cleaner and brighter! Great card!
