I stamped the image on water color paper and then colored it with Copics using the pink and purple colors on the flowers like my inspiration. I stenciled around the edges using a brick stencil with Iced Spruce ink on a blender brush. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of water color paper and adhered it under the image up on foam dots.
I needed some 'feel better' cards for my stash so this will fit the bill!

This sentiment is so true, and as we age, the journey takes a little longer. Your stenciled brick wall looks wonderful against the pretty flower box under the window, Julia! Such a sweet feel better card~

what a wonderful sympathy card- love the window box of flowers, I can see how you were inspired by the flowers. Subtle brickwork as a background adds to the soothing tone of your card. Well done

So true. I had a health situation in Feb with all new meds and worries. Worked through it one day at a time. Now it is all better. So basically this card speaks to me. LOVELY card, Julia. Hugz

Now this is the most perfect encouragement card ever...feeling better and getting better are two different things, right? Sometimes you can feel better, even if you know you won't get better. You certainly took the colors of those beautiful tulips and made them even better. Just lovely.
