I felt like I was in a slump for a bit, but I'm starting to feel like I'm back in my groove. I had so much fun making this card. It started as yesterday's WT Challenge. Polly's title "A little bubbly" inspired me to find my champagne bottle cut file for the anniversary card that I needed. I thought a bubble wrap background would be perfect for the champagne bottle. Polly also suggested getting out our gelli plates--which I did. But I started out trying to use some kind of thick dried up metallic gold paint and that didn't work out well. Then I used some very liquid, runny yellow metallic paint and put too much on. So you can see the print of the bubble wrap in the photo, but in real life it's got that little bit of added interest to capture your imagination. I also inked up the bubble wrap with Wild Honey DOX ink and stamped that to get a little bit more bubble wrap showing. I still felt like I needed a bit more texture to the background, so I also inked up the French Script background with black Stazon and lightly stamped that. The champagne bottle is cut from white and metallic gold cardstock. I inked up the bottle with greens. I decided to stick with the gold theme and foiled the sentiment which I also framed in gold gel pen. Yesterday I got some jeans in the mail that were wrapped up in this fabulous tissue paper. I promptly squirreled that away in my craft room and decided that it would be an awesome addition to this card. I love it.

FUN! What a cool bottle...perfect for a bubbly card. I hear ya on the paint..it can be too thick or runny, Inks probably are easier to use with the bubble wrap. Your added script in the bg adds a little bit more of a textural look.
This is so much fun! I love the bubbly! You did a great job layering the background until you had it the way you wanted. I love that you added the tissue paper! You made a fabulous anniversary card!
