Featured Stamper Challenge hosted by Nancy. We are honoring Kathy aka muscrat.
I so enjoyed looking through Kathy's beautiful gallery. It took me all week to finally choose only one card for inspiration. I kept coming back to this lovely card and it really got me in the mood for a little Christmas card-making.
Her paper is gorgeous and I love the sparkle. I stayed with the poinsettias but had to change the paper. I used a different specialty paper for the sparkle. The same words for the sentiment, but a different stamp. I love this one because there is a curve under Christ in Christmas. I framed it with a circle die. To bring a little sparkle to the sentiment area, I punched out some shapes.
I started with the red card and cut a panel of the dazzling paper for the card base. Then I put a piece of DSP on top. I realized this design used so much of the dazzling paper with only an edge showing. On the second white card, I die-cut a frame with two rectangle dies. Using the smaller die, I cut a DSP panel which fit right into the frame. The white sentiment on the red circle is heat embossed.
The Be Dazzling paper is super sparkly! The photo does not even capture the brilliance. Fun cards to make! Thanks Kathy for sharing your wonderful cards & projects with us and for inspiring mine this week!

Well, I'm dazzled and I can imagine how great and sparkly this looks in IRL. Love how you captured the inspiration card with your version of dps and sparkle. And, I love your sentiment with the swoosh too. I can't tell if I like the red base or white base better. They both look super!

Both are beautifully done! Love the sparkle layer, the poinsettia pp, and especially love the circle die-cuts. Love the touch of glitter on circles...
