I followed a video from Gelli Arts for my bg on this card. I applied 3-4 colors of alcohol ink on my gel plate and spread them out with a brayer trying not to mix them too much. I then added a stencil and pressed down. After about a minute or two when it was dry to the touch, I removed the stencil and rolled on some pearlescent white craft paint and pulled my print.
I haven't carved any stamps for a few years and decided it was time to do it again. I carved the fish and then stamped using 3 different colors.
Come play along today and show us your favorite way to use alcohol inks!
I see my card fits today's F4A to use a gel plate

Can I just say ‘Wow? I don’t do messy often, but your card here has me thinks…great depth, use of colors, the stencil and of course, the hand craved fish. Goodness, Polly, ‘fintastic’ card! The chenille trim is a great touch. You must have had a blast during your process…the shades of color in the fish remind me how the scales actually shimmer in the sunlight!
