| | Today's challenge is to paint a white rose - not easy as white flowers are every color except white when you're painting them.
I thought about using a stamp but in the end I just drew my own rose. I started with pale yellow in the center then mixed in a hint of rose. As I worked my way to the bigger petals I changed to Payne's Grey. Since this challenge was all about the rose I didn't do much to the leaves - my mind was pretty frazzled by then anyhow. I did a light wash of midnight blue around my flower, added a stamped sentiment, then die cut my piece and framed with midnight glitter cardstock. |
