Today's challenge is to paint a white rose - not easy as white flowers are every color except white when you're painting them.
I thought about using a stamp but in the end I just drew my own rose. I started with pale yellow in the center then mixed in a hint of rose. As I worked my way to the bigger petals I changed to Payne's Grey. Since this challenge was all about the rose I didn't do much to the leaves - my mind was pretty frazzled by then anyhow. I did a light wash of midnight blue around my flower, added a stamped sentiment, then die cut my piece and framed with midnight glitter cardstock.

You had to smile when you finished this masterpiece. Love every inch of this painting. The mixture of the rose color really makes it pop. Thanks for adding this to the rose gallery. Fav'd

You certainly did not need a stamp as this is drawn beautifully. I love how you watercolored it and used some rose color. The wash around it really makes the rose stand out.
