It is my turn to the host the Color Challenge. My choices include a returning color, Berry Burst, a brand new color, Lemon Lolly and a continuing color, Shaded Spruce. The dessert option is flowers. Remember these colors are to inspire you and we want everyone to join in. If you do not have the exact color, you may substitute with what you have and you are always welcome to use a neutral. The new list is now available.
For my card, I was inspired when I spotted an old favorite stamp set in my cabinet. Using these new colors, I randomly stamped a full-size piece of Basic White, stamping twice without re-inking. You can cover a large piece quickly when getting two for one. I stamped bumble bees and colored them in with Lemon Lolly. Using one my favorite stamps, I added some splatter. From the panel, I cut a large piece for this card and I have many more stamped pieces for future cards. I love left-overs!
I popped up a heat embossed, oval punched sentiment. Final touch was Wink of Stella on the bees and flowers. Love that sparkle!
I hope you will join in. Our gallery will be a beautiful garden! TFL

Diane, I love the color range you achieved by stamping twice before re-inking. I need to try stamping a full sheet of original DS paper; that sounds like fun and so handy to have for future cards. What a great idea! I especially like the little bees!

Oh my goodness, I remember that great stamp set and it is definitely perfect for making a large iver all page. Also, I love the ease of using IBBG for splatters. The white embossed on black sentiment really pops!
