Hello friends,
Hope I didn't forget any supplies. For some reason I thought of old memories today when I saw the color combo. I used to ride my horse down to the beach and ride in the surf.
I sponged the sky and sea with oxides. Used Lawn Fawn curvy border for the sand then embossed with VersaMark and "sand" e.p. I glued the sand on to scene then used a palette knife and texture paste on the shoreline, glittered and let dry. I made the frame from "letterpressing" Texture Roll material (from Sizzix) in an inked e.f. then cut and glued together. I thought I could make mitered corners but the folder wasn't big enough for that so corners are just over-lapped. I stamped the sentiment (I.O.) with VersaFine Claire black on oxide sponged cardstock then die cut with HC die. The horse and cowgirl (Paper Roses) are die cut from black then popped up as is the frame.
Thanks for the challenge!
