Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some beautiful spring colors: Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron. The dessert option this week is to use your favorite embellishment. I chose gold foil as my dessert option.
I started by stamping the floral outline with brown ink, then used the stencils to color in the flowers and leaves. My ink choices were close matches to this week's colors, plus two additional colors to match the neutrals, Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow. After the coloring was done, I die cut the flowers, the gold frame, and the DS paper. I also cut the fancy hello three times and stacked them for dimension. Then it was a simple matter of mounting all the elements into the frame.
Thanks for taking a peek at my card. Please join us in the gallery this week with your creation!

Beautiful flowers springing forth from the lovely gold frame. Love the swirl on the hello die-cut. Fantastic card with this week's challenge colors, Barbara.

WOW! That pretty stitched window frame adds so much to these already beautiful flowers. Your choice of adding Crumb Cake to this trio really takes it to the next level.
