It's comforting to know that I'm not alone in struggling with this week's technique. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't get the multiple tears and stencils to look good. So, I decided to focus on one tear instead. I used three different glitter pastes to create the stencil and a fourth white glitter paste to represent the sky.
Initially, I tried using shimmer paint on the stencils, but it bled through too much and the effect was too messy. However, the failed attempts resulted in some beautiful background paper that I ended up die-cutting into butterfly shapes.
It was fun learning a new technique and trying out some different media. Thanks for looking.

It took a couple of tries but the glitter pastes hit the mark for this challenge. Pretty card and you were able to get the sparkle in the photo...not easy to show.
