Featured Stamper Challenge honoring Caterina. I enjoyed looking through her gallery. I thought this one was a gem and would translate nicely to a birthday card.
I like Caterina's idea to use DSP scraps. The rainbow look in paper colors and gems is pretty.
I need birthday cards, so I selected some birthday paper. I glued on three strips, stamped sentiment, matted with Soft Suede, wrapped a DSP strip around like ribbon, & used a Blushing Bride card base. Final touch was rhinestones from my stash.
Changes: orientation to portrait, different papers & colors, paper strip instead of ribbon, theme to birthday, used larger sentiment instead of smaller one multiple times, layered on mat, colored card base.
Thanks Caterina for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

This is such great dp that you have used and I have it too! Love your layout. The scallop dp strip is a nice touch. Love the bling you used around your sentiment!

What a fun and festive take on the inspiration card. Love the pairing of the cones with the sprinkles -- who doesn't love sprinkles on their ice cream. Love the soft colors too. The dsp strip is the perfect "topping" for this ice creamed delight. Great card.
