Well, cactus aren't really flowers, but these are colorful! I hope they send some cheer to our Teaparty recipient this week, who is in the hospital for recovery from a series of strokes.
Created the stenciled background with the Hero Arts inks on Gina K white CS, blending from the center out, darkest to lightest. Removed the stencil and lightly blended Lemon Yellow all over (no white backgrounds allowed this week!). Trimmed the panel and adhered to black CS, and adhered to card front.
Die-cut Hello twice from black CS and layered the two die-cuts together for some dimension. Added to card front.
Stamped the cacti onto the Mixed Media paper with Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with colored pencils. Fussy-cut them out and popped them up on the card front with foam tape. Added some gold disc sequins.
TFL!

I think Waltraud will feel like she is living in a botanical garden now that you added the succulent section. These cacti are fun, colorful and look pretty darn friendly to me. I LOVE your stenciled bg and the pattern looks both like flowers and leaves -- perfect! Delightfully fun card and a great way to send some cheer to Waltraud.

I love cacti and yours are so colorful and fun! And you did one of my go to techniques for your bg...sponging over a stencil. I always love the results as I do on your card.

Ah, I like the idea of blending colour over after stencilling, I think I would have tried to do it before. And cacti do flower at some stage ;-). I really like this, SU bright and cheerful.
