For today's Tea Party Jacqueline has challenged us to make some very colorful backgrounds for some colorful flower cards. I grabbed this pretty bouquet of flowers from my collection of images that my friend had stamped for me. Then I dug through my background drawer for the brightest backgrounds I had. I found two really great ones. I think this one was made with ink smooshing on photo paper? I can't remember. I'm going to have to go back and find the challenge that I created this background for, because I need to make more of these. Whatever the challenge was, I think Kia was the hostess. Anyway, for this card, I chose not to color the flowers. This might be my favorite way to use floral stamps - black and white in front of a crazy bright background. So, there I was this morning with two fun cards. One needed to go to Waltraud and one to my friend Jess for her birthday. This one will go to Jess, but I wanted to post it to the Tea Party because it was inspired by Jacqueline's challenge and I think it's so interesting how different these two cards came out just by making a couple of different choices this morning.
