This is for this week's MMTPT (off to Sharon - a SCS member recovering from a fall) and WCW (a tutorial by Lydia on doing underwater shadowing) challenges.
The MMTPT challenge is to use swapped items on your card. I am used some gifted items. My Aunt gave me the whale stamp and pun and my friend Betty traded me the cool new dsp for some fussy cutting help on one of her big projects. Inside I am putting a collection of items so that Sharon can feel like she is in a swap.
The WCW challenge picked by Angie is a tutorial by our own Lydia on how to do Waterlne Shadowing. Lydia used a stamp that could be colored but I just used a little solid stamp instead (short on time) and it worked well too. This was a fun technique so thanks to Angie and Lydia.
I used a bit too much water on my ocean and got a bit of warping on the bottom of each of my panels but they are still cute so I am rolling with them (pun intended - lol).

Very cute...I like how you used your swapped item. Great idea to send Sharon some swapped goodies...maybe she can do some creating while she's recuperating.

A whale of a job on the challenge, Nancy. You knew someone would say that, didn't you? lol

That image is "whaley" adorable and I love this layout to show him off. Yep, your solid stamp looks to have worked perfectly for the shadow. Love the framing with your "cool dp" and the extra texture it brings to the show. I thought you might have rolled the edges on purpose so it looked more like water. I'm glad you kept it that way -- it's really fun. Fab card.
