In a few weeks, I will meet four 4th graders to whom I've been writing this school year. I decided to make them each a card for my last letter to them. I would say they have definitely improved as far as content of their letters, finally answering some of my questions instead of the usual stuff, like playing sports or video games. They tell me their favorite music....no clue who these singers are. I'm old.
Recently Kristina Werner did a video where she swiped ink onto a gel plate and created rainbow stripes. Simple...it's a good reminder that one doesn't need to create a masterpiece. Some shiny metallic stars and a computer generated sentiment finishes them off. This is my inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/205054589254017782/
Thanks, Julie!

Aren't 4th graders the best? I'm sure they have enjoyed your interactions with them and they have taught you some fun things, also. I was a sub for 14 years and I really miss it. Your swiped rainbow background is perfect for your beautiful metallic stars. Your new friends will love the message.

What a fun task you have taken on this school year!! Letter writing is a skill that needs much practice and a skill that will always be necessary!! Love this colorful background for these wonderful stars.
