I was very excited to try today's TLC, as I had come upon this video a few weeks ago. For this one, I used a 3D folder. I made two larger backgrounds so I could cut them in half to make four cards (one still in progress), although both backgrounds looked pretty similar. I decided to leave off a sentiment until later. Because I worked on this piece meal, I totally forgot about splattering...where is my brain today?? I could still do it if I mask off the white base or just accept that I'll get splatter on it. I'll do better with the one I haven't finished yet. Thanks, Sabrina, thrilled to try this. I didn't have any trouble with the markers, although it does take a while to color in the black. I would assume any gray ink would work or maybe even just do black ink?? Not sure.

Feathers, to me. I really like the colour palette you used for the watercolour layer in these. Smart idea to make two larger backgrounds while you were at it.

This looks like a very high quality fabric. Gorgeous colours! I love the leaves (and yes that what they look like to me). A fascinating TLC. Your cards really make me think I'll try this! Wonderful!

I decided not to spatter too. I smiled when I saw the name of the card because I have that embossing folder and a similar stencil and I never can tell if they are leaves or feathers either.
