I was very excited to try today's TLC, as I had come upon this video a few weeks ago. For this one, I used a regular ef, not a 3D. The other three are 3D. I made two larger backgrounds so I could cut them in half to make four cards (one still in progress), although I would say both my backgrounds looked pretty similar. I decided to leave off a sentiment until later. Because I worked on this piece meal, I totally forgot about splattering...where is my brain today?? I could still do it if I mask off the white base or just accept that I'll get splatter on it. I'll do better with the one I haven't finished yet. Thanks, Sabrina, thrilled to try this. I didn't have any trouble with the markers, although it does take a while to color in the black. I would assume any gray ink would work or maybe even just do black ink?? Not sure.

Ok, that is some seriously detailed black coloring on your part. But what a stunning outcome. You have a very steady hand to get into all those tiny places so accurately. BRAVA!!!!! I love how this turned out.

I feel as though if I touched this card it would be real lace. Amazing and stunning. Your gold embossing adds to it. Happy day
