I went with the watercolour cling wrap background option, so there was some drying time. I used Brusho powders, plus a homemade gold mister spray with Perfect Pearls. When dry I stamped the teasel, then some ferns and some gold crackle texture which you can't really see. I tied a bit of seam binding around it, which I had dyed earlier on in the morning, mopping up some re-inkers. Stamped the base with the same fern, and added a little ladybird to finish it off. Not hugely mixed media, but the Perfect Pearls ought to count.
