Today's WTUI is clouds. I tried to cut masks for my clouds with TH masking product but I could not get it to work and I had mistakes; to cover that I cut another cloud and added it to the masked area.
The scene was colored direct-to-rubber and then covered with Versamark embossed with clear ep. I blended in the water, sand and sky.
I also messed up my small stamped greeting so had to cover that over with the popped up sentiment. Sheesh! Hope your cloudy cards are less troubling to make than mine was : )

Oh gosh I love this! I really favor landscape scenes or ocean scenes over florals any day. A sky full of clouds makes me so happy to see. Beautiful results on this design. TFS.

I think your card is WONDERFUL, Claudia. I feel like I'm on the shores of Lake Michigan. I think we all have "mishaps", but the ability to rectify them(or cover them up) is a talent! : ) Your lake seems to shimmer and wonderful job of showing the shadow of the tree.

What a lovely scene -- it makes me wish I were at the lake. I certainly wouldn't have guessed you made any mistakes; your solutions to them look perfectly planned.

Clouds are so often layered in real life, so I think that even though it's covering up, the extra cloud looks just perfect. I've certainly had to go the popped-up sentiment route myself many a time! I like this peaceful scene. I know for you it's a lake, but it reminds me of a Greek beach. And actually maybe a French lake we once camped by too, come to think of it.
Love this beautiful scene! I'm amazed at how wonderful this came out with direct to rubber...I'd have had a lot more to cover than a little boo-boo if I tried it. Don't tell anyone you made a mistake and no one will ever know. Your card is gorgeous!!

Your scene looks so peaceful and beautifully done, Claudia, despite the difficulties you faced in creating it!! I have literally just bought this stamp, PB stamps are my favourite.

A beautiful card. I love sailboats and this is where I would like to be right now. Your direct to rubber technique looks awesome.

Lately I keep dropping my stamp just as I am about the stamp it and made an inky mess everywhere. Lots of covering up needed for me. Your card looks so pretty and serene. I love to sail!
