This is my card for today's Alphabet Challenge letter V is for View-Master. I went literal with this week's letter and used a tutorial here on Splitcoast to make a View-Master card. The tutorial can be found here: View-Master™ Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I followed the steps in the tutorial to make my birthday card though I eliminated one panel in their process. Other images on this birthday themed view-master include a gift, birthday candles, a balloon, and a party hat.
I used the Confetti turnabout stamp on the front panel to give it some tone on tone texture. My Calypso Coral panel was just a bit too narrow and the white of the view-master panel was peeking out the left side. Rather that start over, I embossed the Crushed Curry strip and added it down the left side to widen my front panel just a bit.
I haven't made a view-master card in a while and it was fun to re-visit this technique. Thanks for the challenge, Ann, and thanks for looking!
