We were honored to be invited to a friend's 90th birthday party and I wanted to make a special card. This bkgd was in my stash and created using the following process:
-Choose a stamp image with lines that are not too bold and not too far apart. Ink with DOX inkpads, then mist heavily with water until you see some drops. Stamp on watercolor paper. Mist and stamp again on a second piece of paper. (On this card, some of the misting was done with shimmer mist.)
-Clean stamp and let images dry. Reink with DOX and don't worry about having the colors in all the same areas of the image. Do NOT mist, just stamp to add the details back in to the image.
The 90 is cut from silver cs. The happy birthday was cut twice from black cs, and then one on top was topped with shimmer marker. The circle panel is popped up from the bkgd.

Elegant and beautiful! Something to celebrate for sure and your card speaks to that.
