The Gallery of this week's Featured Stamper, Lynn aka InkyPinkys, is such a delight to peruse. Lynn has a keen eye for design and some marvelous die cuts I've never seen before. So much there to inspire and I now have a whole new universe of craft suppliers to shop from. I need an Anniversary card and thought this might be the ticket: Happy Halloween by InkyPinkys at Splitcoaststampers
No, not because my marriage is scary, Silly. I love the scattering of text with the cluster of die cuts. I kept her text format, stripes down the edge and die cuts, but changed the theme, color, layout, and images.
I didn't have enough variety in my "love" stamps, so I created a word montage on the computer in shades of blue -- hubby's favorite color -- with a variety of different fonts. Stamped the stripes down the side using Sabrina's wonderful hint to use a piece of transparency to space the second stamping of the stripes top to bottom. Added the die cuts and stamped the tiny hearts (similar to Lynn's pumpkin faces). If I had this to do over, I would minimize the words and keep them more uniform and in a tighter cluster similar to Lynn's layout. I like hers more, but this will work for my purposes.
Congratulations Lynn on being selected this week's Featured Stamper. I adore your style and designs and hope to come back and CASE some others. I hope you enjoy all the cards made in your honor this week. And, I hope everyone is enjoying the day -- perhaps texting with a loved one or friend. TFL

Love your anniversary card inspired by Lynn's neat card. I especially like the side stripes. I had to laugh at you getting all the enablement from Lynn's gallery. Of course you did, lol. This looks wonderful in the red, white and blue, Debbie!
