For Dennis Major's 80th birthday. Card base is a deep blue metallic. Printed words on white cs on laser printer. Die cut words with octagon dies, also die cut octagons from holographic cs. On white octagons with words, taped and then colored the stitched edges with Smooch Ink. Layered the word shapes onto the holographic shapes, then added to card. Die cut balloons from blue mirror board and added to card front. Embellished with Jones Tones blue mini sequins.
We were asked to use octagons for an octogenarian, blue is his favorite color. I did use 3 different foils- metallic blue on the a & milestone words, swirly blue on the 80, and glitter holographic blue on Major.
For those who like the font I used Jokerman, which is probably my absolute favorite font.

You have certainly celebrated this major milestone with flair -- the inside or your card is as creative and fun as the front. Loving that blue metallic. Great card.

What a special personalized card you created. I bet it just shimmers and sparkles in real life. I particularly like the blue foil you used on MAJOR. Thanks so much for helping celebrate my Dad's birthday.
