It's my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS845), so a big congrats to Susan! She has such a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I liked the flower peeking out from under the top layer & the stenciling so I kept those. But I used different images, dies & colors & made mine a birthday card.
After stenciling the white panel, I die cut just the right edge w/ a fancy rectangle die then cut the left off straight. I placed a piece of turquoise just under the right edge & trimmed around it. The flowers were all colored & die cut then placed under the stenciled panel. A larger turquoise panel was attached to the card front than the flowers & stenciled layer. I thought it needed a greeting but since I'd already put the card together, I used a small stamped & die cut birthday greeting. I didn't want to take a chance on messing up if I stamped right onto the stenciled layer.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & products: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is a beautiful case of Susan's card. I really love how you used only half of the decorative rectangle for your side border and the soft patterns is so lovely. The flowers are colored so beautifully.

Oh my gosh, some gorgeous dies, flowers, and stenciling. I need to study this more as it is soooo cool. Fab case, Julie. Hugz

Gorgeous. I love the way you adapted Susan's card with that fancy dies, these beautiful colors, and those lovely images. Both the base layer frame and the the more intricate lacy frame on top add so much interest and detail. Those flowers and your beautiful coloring would make any card wonderful, but those die cuts really make this card special. Fabulous card.

I was also drawn to that card in Susan's gallery; I really like the layout with the flowers peeking in from the right. Your stenciling and die cutting on the left side panel are so pretty with your pink marigolds!

Obviously a lot of work went into this beauty ... but it was certainly worth it!!
