I have been trying to make a birthday card for this 80th birthday all week. Not sure why sometimes it is so hard. This is my 4th try and I am okay with it.

wow - this came out absolutely great ! I love that TV with the golf tournament... it'll bring quite a chuckle to Dennis.. the balloons are fabulous floating round in front of the TV.. This card is great - and I'm sure your other cards were too.. we all are our worst critics !! LOL

Cool card, Pat. I think someuit can be a struggle, but I'm also pretty sure the other 3 were better than you thought. The sentiment is great with the extra "sprinkles". The golf scene is great, although personally i have had too involuntary golf TV with added commentary when we visit my in-laws. It's certainly easier to reproductive a modern flat screen TV than the older ones!!

So fun and festive. Love the bright colors, confetti, and balloons. Looks like Dennis can settle into a happy, relaxing afternoon watching golf. Great card.

Thanks for persevering Pat - it turned out great. Love the little golf on TV scene you included. Dad is sure to love it too - he's been lining all the cars up on the mantle. Thanks for helping celebrate this milestone occasion with us.
