I knew I wanted to use either my large or small tree ring die. There's a matching ef but when I embossed it, the owl didn't look so good, and rather than stamp with the embossing folder which would have taken more time, I just used another tree ring stamp. I stamped a leafy background and spattered it with a blue Inktense pencil. Drew a glue line and looped the twine, then added the wooden discs and finally decided to add some gold flakes in the bottom area. Love how this turned out - thanks for the challenge, Polly. It's been pretty windy here, plenty of branches (and trees) down. One day I saw two crows stripping the bark off fallen small branches - I guess for their nest-building.

SO creative with the wooden tree rings! I really like how you added the smaller rings and twisted twine on the bottom. And the bits of gold flakes add a bit of magic. Thanks for playing along.
